Usher says he was hacked after his Twitter account got wiped out following Diddy arrest: 'Y'all ran with it'
The eight-time Grammy winner, 45, said in a post Sunday, 'Account got hacked and damn y'all ran with it! See you tonight at Intuit Dome.'
A number of fans expressed skepticism on Sunday after Usher's full X/ Twitter account had been temporarily deleted, coming shortly after the arrest of his mentor Sean ' Diddy' Combs Monday in connection with federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. In a lawsuit filed by Dawn Richard, Usher was accused of having been present (along with Ne-Yo) while Combs was exerting physical abuse against his ex-girlfriend Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura. It's been a busy year for the stalwart R&B star, who was the headline act for the halftime show of Super Bowl LVIII, in which he performed alongside along artists including Alicia Keys, will.i.am, Lil Jon, Jermaine Dupri, Ludacris and H.E.R.
