On Thursday, the singer held a press conference ahead of his Halftime Show performance in Las Vegas, where he reflected on the last time he hit the stage at the Big Game in 2011 with the Black Eyed Peas. “That is the source that has been fueling me for these years creatively.” Thursday’s press conference also featured an interview with pregame performers Post Malone, Andra Day, and Reba McEntire. In the nearly decade since, he’s largely played one-off gigs and festivals, though the past several years have been dedicated to his hit residencies in Las Vegas (plus a run in Paris).
