Usher Postpones Start of Tour to Recover From Neck Injury

Usher postpones the start of his Past Present Future Tour after suffering a neck injury at rehearsal.

“My hope was that with physical therapy and medical treatment, I would be able to overcome the injury and be ready for opening night,” he wrote. “I love my fans and thank you for understanding that this injury must be healed so that I can give you the 100% excellence that you expect from an Usher show and that I will be on stage in your city very soon,” he added. The new run is his first since 2014’s UR Experience Tour, although he did host 100 shows for his “My Way” residency at the Park MGM in Las Vegas.
