USA Basketball played Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" following the team's exhibition victory over Drake's Canada. Watch the clip from Las Vegas.
The public address announcer then interrupted the Drake diss track to ask the audience to give the team a final ovation before heading home. After facing an 11-1 deficit to start the game, Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards and the bench lineup gained control, and Team USA ended up cruising to a double-digit win in the second half. It was a good opening statement for the Americans with Kevin Durant not playing and Kawhi Leonard leaving the team, both due to injuries.
