US rapper Azealia Banks has thrown her support behind independent senator Lidia Thorpe's extraordinary rant at King Charles this week.
The King had just finished speaking in the Great Hall at Canberra's Parliament House on Monday when Ms Thorpe roared out a torrent of abuse at the monarch. Azealia's comments came after Senator Lidia Thorpe, a high-profile Indigenous activist with a track record of stunts at major political events, screamed 'f*** the colony' and 'you are not my king' at Parliament House in Canberra on Monday. It's not the first time that Azealia has unleased about Australia with the fiery rapper vowing, in 2022, never to return Down Under after claiming a previous show in Brisbane was the 'most racist, demoralising experience' of her life.'
