UNLV Football Player Ben Christman Dead at 21: 'Extremely Difficult Day'
Ben Christman, a former Ohio State Buckeye who recently transferred to UNLV, was found dead at his residence
“Our team’s heart is broken to hear of Ben’s passing,” UNLV head football coach Dan Mullen said in a statement. Christman transferred to UNLV after beginning his collegiate career at Ohio State, where he redshirted his freshman season and appeared in one game for the Buckeyes in 2022. UNLV President Keith E. Whitfield said, “There is little that can be said to lessen the pain of suddenly losing a member of our university family at such a young age, and my heart breaks for all who knew and loved him.
