Universal Studios Hollywood will be closed Wednesday amid the wildfires and high winds that continue to ravage the Los Angeles area.
Multiple fires stoked by powerful winds continue to burn from Pacific Palisades to Pasadena, forcing tens of thousands to evacuate and leaving an unknown number of homes destroyed or damaged. Gavin Newsom posted on X early Wednesday that California had deployed more than 1,400 firefighting personnel to combat the blazes. Mark Hamill, Mandy Moore, and James Woods were among the stars who were forced to evacuate their Pacific Palisades homes.
