Universal Studios Hollywood Shakes Up Earthquake Attraction, Brings Back Vintage Glamor Trams & More To Celebrate Tour’s 60th Anniversary
Universal is brings the original red and white candy-striped Glamor Trams and a replica of the Hollywood Sign for photo ops and revamps its earthquake attraction.
While Universal now runs all-electric vehicles, guests will have the opportunity to get a look at some of the classic cars and take a photo in front of an original, fully restored 1964 vintage Glamor Tram. Other throwback photo opps being added to the tour include the theme park’s original hanging Jaws shark, a giant King Kong backdrop and the first-ever approved replica of the Hollywood Sign to be situated along the backlot in celebration of the Hollywood Sign’s centennial. Additionally, at Courthouse Square, where scenes from the Back to the Future movies were filmed, guests will see an original time machine picture car on display plus the Doc Brown character roaming the area.
