Unexpected reason why Prince George won't be going to secondary school in September

Prince George has just marked his 11th birthday, and while many children his age will be heading to secondary school after the summer holidays, the young royal won't be moving schools

As he moves into year 7, George will remain at his current educational establishment, Lambrook School, which his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, also attend. On Monday, 22 July, George turned 11 years old and his special day was marked with a new photograph taken by his mum, the Princess of Wales, at Windsor earlier this month. The black and white photo, shared on Kensington Palace’s social media accounts, shows George smiling at the camera while dressed in a smart suit.
