Undocumented Immigrant Film ‘High Tide’ Set for North American Release (EXCLUSIVE)

Marco Calvani's undocumented immigrant tale 'High Tide' is set for a North American theatrical release

The narrative follows a heartbroken undocumented Brazilian immigrant over the course of one summer in the U.S. Adrift and seeking connection in the queer mecca of Provincetown, he meets a charismatic man who seems to share his feelings of alienation and uncertainty in the country. It also sees Oscar-winner Marisa Tomei(“My Cousin Vinny”), Tony-winner Bill Irwin (“Rachel Getting Married”), and Independent Spirit-winner Mya Taylor (“Tangerine”) in supporting roles. Among its 40 film credits are “Judy,” “Jackie,” “Ben Is Back,” “The Zookeeper’s Wife,” and Oscar-nominated “Biutiful.” “High Tide” is its second theatrical release this year after the recent opening of “National Anthem.”
