UK weather maps show 114 hours of ‘non-stop’ Christmas snow


The UK is set to be blasted by a five-day snowstorm just a few days before Christmas, according to new weather maps - with a 'white Christmas' potentially on the cards

While snowy conditions are predicted to continue in northern parts of England until midday on Christmas Day, the wintry spell is not forecast to spread as far south as London and Southampton, reports the Express. The BBC's long-range forecast from Monday, 23 December to Sunday, 5 January predicts windy and stormy conditions, mild temperatures and potential disruption due to low pressure systems moving across the country.
