UK Government Backs New Scottish Film & TV Studio
Stirling Studios has launchesd with backing from the UK Government Levelling Up Fund
Work will begin now on the new space, the latest in a long line of recent developments in the UK that includes a studio helmed by James Corden’s Fulwell 73. The studio is one of a number announced in recent months including Fulwell 73’s £450M Crown Works in the north east of England. Productions from both the U.S. and UK have been rushing back following the end of the Hollywood labor strikes and the local industry looks set for a further boon with the introduction of the 40% indie film tax credit.
