Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Bram van den Berg of U2 perform during U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere on Sept. 30, 2023 in Las Vegas. “The goal was to give the immersive moviegoers as close to the live U2:UV concert experience as possible — and then some,” The Edge said in a statement. Following U2’s inaugural run at the 20,000-seat, $2.3 billion venue with a 16K wraparound interior LED screen and iconic 580,000 square foot exterior LED display, Phish swooped in for a four-show stint in April, which then gave way to a 30-show stay-put by fellow jam giants Dead & Company.
