ET caught up with Tyrese before he sang the National Anthem at SoFi ahead of the Los Angeles Rams vs. Cowboys game.
Tyrese Gibson had some old-school inspiration for his Sunday performance of the National Anthem at the preseason game between the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys. Ahead of his now-viral performance at SoFi Stadium, the 45-year-old spoke to ET's Kevin Frazier and shared why he wanted to recreate Marvin Gaye's rendition of the song when he sang for the Cowboys and the Oakland Raiders in 1974. The film'sofficial synopsis reads, "In 1992, Mercer (Tyrese) endeavors to restore his life and relationship with his son during the unrest following the Rodney King verdict.
