Tyler, The Creator Decided to Perform at Kendrick’s Pop Out Concert at the Last Minute


Tyler, The Creator's performance at Kendrick Lamar's Pop Out concert almost didn't happen.

During Billboard ‘s conversation with the West Coast artist for our recent cover story, he told writer Rembert Browne the he decided to perform at the show at the very last minute where he did two songs: “WusYaName” from Call Me If You Get Lost and “Earfquake” from Igor. The Pop Out: Ken & Friends featured performances by not only Tyler, but a slew of guests that included Dr. Dre, Mustard, YG, Roddy Ricch, Ty Dolla $ign, members of Lamar’s former label TDE, and many more. Tyler the Creator arrives at the Premiere Of Netflix's "The Piano Lesson" at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood on Nov. 19, 2024 in Los Angeles.
