The film follows Perry’s life from his childhood beginnings to his current position in Hollywood as the ultimate multihyphenate creator, writer, studio head, producer, actor, and so much more. She called the documentary a privilege because it allowed audiences to witness the in-between moments of Perry’s life, between the set and home, waking up at 5 a.m. and even just sitting on the side and simply dwelling.
