Tyla Sweeps the Floor With Pinstripe Jacquemus Gown at 2025 Met Gala
Tyla served old Hollywood glamour and paid homage to the late André Leon Talley at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday (May 5).
The South African star stunned on the blue carpet with her immaculately tailored off-the-shoulder Jacquemus gown that featured a beaded pinstripe design, and a floor-length cape that honored Talley, according to her stylist Law Roach’s Instagram Story. The official dress code is “Tailored for You,” a nod to the spring 2025 exhibition’s focus on menswear and is “purposefully designed to provide guidance and invite creative interpretation,” according to Vogue. Tyla served as one of the members of the costume institute benefit host committee, alongside Doechii, André 3000, Usher, Janelle Monáe and more.
