In her recent Nylon cover story, the South African singer revealed that she’s made “full-on rap songs” and plans to share one with fans someday. Last month, Tyla performed her current hit “Push 2 Start” at the Billboard Women in Music event at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, and accepted the Impact Award for her breakout success. “I just feel very lucky for my fans who have given me such an exciting life, allowing me to grow in front of the world into all the different versions of myself as an artist and as a woman,” she told the crowd.
