Tyla cancels Coachella and 2024 world tour debut amid worsening injury: 'I've been silently suffering with an injury that has tragically worsened.'

The South African singer and songwriter took to her Instagram page on Thursday to announce the news and explain why she's canceling all the shows, which were set to kick off in Oslo, Norway on March 21 and include a slot at Coachella in April. Last year, Tyla shot to international fame with her hit single Water, resulting in her first-ever Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance in February. The North American leg of the now canceled Tyla Tour was set to begin in San Francisco on April 22 and include 19 dates in such cities as Seattle, Portland, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Toronto, before wrapping in Minneapolis on May 28.
