The 25-year-old member of K-pop girl group TWICE is in talks to play the female lead role in the Korean remake of the 2011 Taiwanese hit film You Are the Apple of My Eye. This casting news comes after it was revealed Dahyun will appear in the independent feature film Sprint, where she will star alongside Ha Seok-jin and Lee Sin-young as an athlete. Regarding the reports, her agency JYP Entertainment said: “ Dahyun has received an offer for the Korean adaptation of ‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’ and is currently reviewing it.”
