TV weather presenter in epic rant in final forecast saying 'I've been sacked'

He might have forecast sunny weather but Paul Burt's outlook was decidedly stormy...

A weather presenter refused to go quietly after being let go from his job, delivering a fearless rant telling viewers in his final forecast: "If I’d had the opportunity I wouldn’t have wanted to go this way. Forecaster Paul Burt, 51, also complained in an interview that he'd had only “55 seconds to say my goodbyes” after a career that began back in 1996. However, he launched into a commentary about his departure when newsreader Samantha Heathwood paid tribute to his time at the network, saying: "Burty, we can’t let you go tonight without thanking you for your passionate weather reporting over the past decade and a bit."
