TV Star Fred Sirieix “Bursting With Pride” As Daughter Wins Olympics Bronze In Synchronized Diving
Fred Sirieix's daughter, Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, has won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.
The daughter of the First Dates maitre d’ and restauranteur, Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, won a dramatic bronze medal in the women’s sychronized diving 10m platform competition at the Paris games. Soon after, Sirieix posted a social media message, calling the bronze win a “beautiful moment” and saying he was “bursting with pride, joy and happiness.” Despite his background in food and TV presenting, his connection to Spendolini-Sirieix, who has been a rising star in diving over recent years, appeared to compell BBC Sport to add him to its coverage.
