TV star dies aged 70 after 'putting up an unbelievable fight'
Drake Hogestyn - who was best known for playing John Black on US soap Days of Our Lives - has died at the age of 70 after a battle with pancreatic cancer
Drake's family, including his wife Victoria and their children Whitney, Alexandra, Rachael, and Ben, released a heartfelt statement on the show's social media platforms to announce the news. Kristian Alfonso, who portrays Hope Williams Brady, shared on her Instagram account alongside a collection of photos with Drake: "My hear t[three broken heart emojis]..... General Hospital star Genie Francis - who played Diana Colville on Days from 1987 to 1989 - posted on X: "So sad to hear of Drake Hogestyn's passing.
