TV ratings war! Channel Nine and Seven clash over new ratings system that can easily turn a struggling show into a 'hit'


A new ratings war has broken out between Nine and Seven.

Channel Nine and Seven are squabbling over the freshly implemented VOZ Total TV ratings which includes viewers streaming shows, even if its only for a minute. The real-life adventure show managed to score 1.126 million viewers this year with its debut episode, while the 2023 premiere drew 447,000 in the metro centres. An insider claims that Nine is winning the ratings helped by MAFS (pictured) and its News coverage where it counts in the metro centres, including Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
