The Welsh TV presenter, 47, opened up on the 'tough period' the couple went through while trying to start a family, describing it as one of 'the hardest things' he's ever been through.
Appearing on the Who We Are Now podcast with Richard Hammond and his daughter Izzy on Tuesday, Steve applauded his wife for the bravery she has shown after getting the news that 'it's not happening'. Speaking of their wedding, a source told the Daily Mirror at the time: 'It might seem to have happened incredibly quickly to outsiders given that they only had a few weeks to plan the entire day but they couldn't be happier.'
