TV Academy to Launch First-Ever Festival, ‘Televerse,’ in August

The TV Academy will launch its first-ever festival, Televerse, in August — making it the first time it has held official FYC panels for Emmy nominees.

Per the org, “plans are underway with partners at every studio, network, platform and with innovative tech companies to present insider discussions, meet-and-greets, interactive exhibits, premieres and previews of upcoming programs.” In all cases, there is also a $5,000 event administrative and member invitation fee; and $2,500 for live streaming if you didn’t opt for the recording package at the Wolf Theatre. “We will bring the best in the business together for Televerse, deliver remarkable access to a wide range of programming, and provide an extraordinary forum for the exchange of new ideas and industry innovation.”
