Tupac Murder Trial Pushed to 2026 After New Evidence Emerges

The trial of Tupac murder suspect Duane 'Keefe D' Davis was delayed after his defense attorneys suggested there was new evidence to investigate.

The Nevada judge overseeing the case agreed to postpone the trial date at a hearing Tuesday, Feb. 18, according to ABC News. This came after lawyers for defendant Duane “Keffe D” Davis filed a motion last week seeking to delay the start of the trial, citing the need for new witness interviews and further investigation. While Davis has denied the charges against him, he also seemed to implicate himself in his own memoir, Compton Street Legend, in which he described the circumstances around Shakur’s killing in detail.
