Trump “Bloodbath” Comment The Focus Of Quick-Turn Biden Campaign Ad

As news networks parse the meaning of Donald Trump's "bloodbath" remarks at a rally this weekend, Joe Biden's campaign has rolled out a quick-turn campaign ad.

Interspersed with shots of torch carrying and Nazi-accoutered marchers chanting “Jews will not replace us” in Charlottesville in 2017 is Trump’s initial response to that so called Unite the Right rally in which he says characterizes them thusly: “You also had people that were very fine people on both sides.” The ad then cuts to video of those who attacked the U.S. Capitol on January 6 dressed in black and flashing white supremacy signs as Trump is heard to intone, “Proud Boys, stand back and stand by” before images of the January 6 attackers assaulting law enforcement are seen. Trump is then heard calling those tried, convicted and locked away for their part in the assault on the Capitol “hostages.”
