During Sivan’s concert at London’s OVO Arena Wembley, Charli XCX made a surprise appearance, not that the audience was ready for it. “Immediately, I thought he was super sweet.” When she played him her demo for “1999,” saying she wanted to give it to another artist, he pleaded with her to change her mind. At the London concert, Sivan welcomed another collaborator onstage earlier in the show: Ross Lynch, who performed “One of Your Girls” with him.
