Trisha Yearwood and Questlove have been added to the 'This Is Spinal Tap' sequel

Trisha Yearwood and Questlove are the latest stars to join the cast of This Is Spinal Tap 2, which is now in production more than 40 years after Rob Reiner’s original rock music mockumentary premiered in 1984. The sequel will find Reiner both reprising his role as Martin “Marty” Di Bergi and returning to direct, with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer stepping back into their characters as the titular heavy metal band. Regarded as the first-ever mockumentary, Reiner’s original cult classic focused on the fictional rock trio as they embarked on their 1982 U.S. tour in support of their controversial Smell the Glove album.
