Trisha Goddard, 66, reveals her breast cancer has returned and is incurable as she speaks out to free herself from the 'burden' of keeping illness a secret


The TV host, 66, who was first diagnosed with the disease in 2008, said she is speaking out in order to free herself from the burden of keeping it a secret.

The Talk TV broadcaster told her fans: 'I've just had 2 of the toughest weeks... One where I was rushed to hospital for an emergency operation, literally roaring in pain. I spent a week in hospital, was discharged on the Friday and with the help of Mother Morphine, did my 3 hour @talktv shows on Saturday and Sunday. The routine mammography offered to women between the ages of 50 and 70 means more breast cancers are being diagnosed and treated at an early stage.
