Triple M radio legend announces shock departure from network after 16 years
A radio legend has announced that he will be leaving Triple M at the end of the year after a 16-year run.
In a statement on Monday, Worland - who is a longtime friend of Hugh Jackman- thanked his colleagues and behind-the-scenes staff as he confirmed his exit. 'From my early days with Matty Johns, Mark Geyer, and Chris Page, to my current team with Jude Bolton and Aaron Woods, I've been lucky to work with some amazing people,' he said. Gus's time at Triple M included stints as a commentator for the station's cricket broadcasts, a role he embraced enthusiastically.
