Travis Scott Released From Paris Jail After 36 Hours in Custody, Will Not Be Charged

Travis Scott had been arrested Friday morning in Paris following an alleged altercation with his bodyguard.

ET had learned that Scott purportedly engaged in a fight with his own security detail amid rising tensions over an alleged lack of protection from the paparazzi. "I confirm that on August 9, 2024 shortly after 5 a.m., the police were called to the Georges V hotel and arrested the nicknamed Travis Scott for violence against a security guard," a spokesperson for the Paris Public Prosecutor's Office told ET in a statement. He also made headlines in May when a fight broke out in Cannes between him and music executive and Cher's boyfriend, Alexander "AE" Edwards.
