Travis Scott and Cactus Jack Foundation Distribute Food & Water To 2,000 Houston Families Affected By Hurricane Beryl

Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack Foundation handed out essential aid to 2,000 Texas families following the devastation left behind by Hurricane Beryl.

In conjunction with the drive, the Cactus Jack Foundation also teamed with disaster response organization Houston Responds to launch an emergency hotel grant fund to set up temporary housing for displaced Houstonians who are still without power after the storm came ashore in Texas on July 8 as a category one hurricane. The emergency aid distributed by Scott, along with his mother, brother and sister will help families find shelter at local hotels as temperatures continue to hover in the low 90s across the state. The announcement notes that eligibility for the housing program is based on need and includes income limitation and proof of disaster-related displacement to make sure the most vulnerable residents receive aid as soon as possible.
