Travis Kelce's romantic nod to Taylor Swift in Grotesquerie is confirmed by Ryan Murphy
Travis Kelce's acting debut in Ryan Murphy's new FX horror series, Grotesquerie, paid homage to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
While referring to the scene that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, and Niecy Nash-Betts attempt to flee the hospital together in a dream-like sequence, the prolific producer told THR that the pair's 'red getaway car' is 'a little Taylor Swift nod.' In Grotesquerie, Kelce plays Ed Lachlan, a recovering drug addict working as a nurse and is a potential love interest for Nash-Betts' character, Detective Lois Tryon. Others reacted to the link by sharing famous lyrics from the song with one writing the opening line, 'Nothing good starts in a getaway car,' while another added a snippet of the bridge saying, 'They were jet set, Bonnie and Clyde.'
