While chatting with guest Lil Dicky on the Wednesday (April 10) episode of his and older brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, the three-time Super Bowl champion admitted that he’s still perplexed by how successfully he wooed Taylor Swift last year, revealing that the pop star wasn’t even a football fan before he came into the picture. When Lil Dicky started to remind Travis that he first caught Swift’s eye by mentioning her on a 2023 episode of New Heights — on which the athlete revealed he’d tried and failed to slip the musician a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at one of her Kansas City Eras Tour shows — the Ohio native hilariously cut the rapper-comedian off. “This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift recalled in her December Time cover story.
