Tragic theory Dr Michael Mosley 'fainted in heatwave' as deadline set on search for This Morning star

Dr Michael Mosley, 67, has been missing for two days after he went on a coastal hike in Greece, and Greek officials have now set a deadline amid fears the heatwave may have 'overcome' him

The well-loved This Morning health pro went missing in Symi, and the island's mayor, Eleftherios Papakalodoukas, has suggested the doctor could be suffering from dehydration because of the scorching temperatures that hit 35 degrees Celsius. Mayor Papakalodoukas highlighted the perilous nature of Dr Mosley's chosen hiking route, which features "very high cliffs" and challenging terrain that could represent considerable dangers, particularly if he didn't stay hydrated. As Birmingham Live reported, the search teams have now expanded to include helicopters, drones, dogs, and a large number of emergency personnel, all scouring the Dodecanese Island region for any sign of the missing doctor.
