Trace Cyrus Claims Katy Perry Is Copying His Sister Miley's Career
Trace Cyrus claims that Katy Perry's career mimics Miley Cyrus' moves, from hairstyle changes to hip hop influences
“I first knew Katy Perry and her team were lame as f*** when her career was first dying,” Trace, 36, quipped in a Friday, April 18, Instagram video. Trace didn’t stop at apparent hair similarities, also theorizing about Miley’s professional collaborations with Mike WiLL Made-It, Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J that transitioned her to a music with a more “hip hop” sound. Perry was joined by CBS Mornings host Gayle King, filmmaker Kerianne Flynn, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe and Jeff Bezos ’ fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, on the flight.
