A production insider tells Deadline that producers are indeed filming the show, but couldn’t confirm future plans like a TV broadcast, streaming or even a theatrical release. Rumors about a Merrily proshot have been circulating since last week, when those paper notices familiar to all New Yorkers were posted along 44th Street in Manhattan indicating that a filming would be taking place on Monday, June 17, and Tuesday, June 18. On Sunday, Merrily won the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival, with Groff winning Best Leading Actor/Musical and Radcliffe taking the Best Featured Actor/Musical trophies.
