Tony Awards To Be Simulcast On Outdoor Screen At Lincoln Center Park
A Tony Awards simulcast event will take place outdoors at Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park during the awards ceremony on June 16.
Sponsored by American Express, the event will be open to the general public and will include a 7:30 p.m./ET pre-show featuring performances and appearances by notable Broadway talent. According American Express, “the event will give attendees an opportunity to partake in Broadway’s most prestigious awards ceremony through various onsite activations and photo moments.” This year’s Tonys will be held for the first time at the Koch Theater, and due to reduced seating (compared to previous venues like Radio City Music Hall), the small number of tickets for the general public will not be available.
