The Grammy-winning singer and actress, 56, said she was told by her management to hide her diagnosis in the latest episode of women's health podcast SHE MD. Braxton first shared in 2010 that she had lupus, an autoimmune disease that occurs when your body's immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. The "Un-Break My Heart" singer said on the podcast that she met with at least six doctors before she was able to get a proper diagnosis.
