Toni Braxton Says She Went to 'At Least Six Doctors' Before Lupus Diagnosis: 'I Felt Like a Hypochondriac'

Toni was diagnosed with lupus in 2008 after collapsing two different times while performing.

They discussed her decision to remove her breast implants, her heart condition and near-bypass surgery, and her upcoming Las Vegas residency with Cedric the Entertainer. There, doctors discovered fluid around her heart and a low white blood cell count, initially suspecting she had precancerous symptoms for two years. Toni also discussed the impact of lupus on her career, noting that she was advised to keep her diagnosis private due to concerns about her ability to perform and the risks involved.
