Tones And I enters the history books once more, as the Australian artist’s monster hit “Dance Monkey” ticks past 3 billion streams on Spotify. Since its commercial launch in 2008, Spotify has entered just eight songs into the three billion streams club; with the exception of “Dance Monkey,” all of them are recorded by male artists from North America or the United Kingdom. When it completes its final show in late March, the trek, produced by Live Nation, is expected to pass 900,000 ticket sales for Australia and New Zealand, a box-office record for a solo female artist.
