Tom Selleck’s ‘Aiming High’ With His ‘Interest’ in Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Yellowstone’ Universe

Tom Selleck is interested in joining the Yellowstone universe and 'has one more substantial TV run left in him,' an insider exclusively tells Closer.

Tom Selleck has been open about his desire to work with lightning rod Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, and insiders believe it’ll happen one way or other – with the Blue Bloods legend pushing hard for his own dedicated Western-themed show. “Tom also has a decades-long relationship with the company that owns Yellowstone, Paramount Global, and they are taking his interest in the franchise just as seriously as Taylor Sheridan and his team are,” the source adds. The source says that Tom is planning to stay booked and busy after Blue Bloods ’ end following 14 seasons on CBS, “especially when other streamers like Netflix and Amazon are pitching him their own ideas.”
