Tom Selleck Is ‘Open’ to 'Blue Bloods' Spinoff: 'Nobody’s Really Asked'

Tom Selleck teased what is next for him after playing Frank Reagan for 14 seasons on the CBS series 'Blue Bloods'

“I’m open to suggestions, because I love Frank Reagan, but nobody’s really asked,” Selleck, 79, told Parade magazine in a cover story published on Friday, December 6. The CBS drama premiered in 2010, documenting the lives of Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and his law enforcement family. Selleck argued that Blue Bloods should have remained on the air, saying, “I’m not going to turn into a bitter old guy saying, ‘Get off my lawn.’ I don’t believe in holding grudges, but if you were to say to the television network, ‘Here’s a show you can program in the worst time slot you got, and it is going to guarantee you winning Friday night for the next 15 years,’ it would be almost impossible to believe.”
