Tom Holland's fans go into meltdown as more than 50,000 scramble to get pre-sale tickets to watch the actor in Romeo & Juliet in the West End: 'This feels like Eras tour trauma!'
The actor's fans went into meltdown as more than 50,000 scrambled to get tickets for his West End return in Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.
Pre-sale started at 8am on Tuesday morning with thousands joining a virtual queue to see if they could be in with a chance at seeing the actor, 27, as romantic lead Romeo Montague at the Duke Of York Theatre. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Tom's followers voiced their fears they may not be able to see him on stage as they waited in a virtual queue behind thousands of others for the priority access tickets. Romeo And Juliet is a story that has been staged hundreds of times on the West End and The Crown actor Josh O'Connor and Irish star Jessie Buckley appeared in a version of the play, filmed for TV inside the National Theatre in 2021.
