Tom Hiddleston reunites with Hugh Laurie to film The Night Manager season two in Richmond as villain Richard Roper returns from the dead
Hugh's appearance on set will also come as a shock to many fans, after his character, the villainous Richard Roper, met his demise during the show's first series.
Tom himself won a Golden Globe for his role as ex-soldier Jonathan Pine and, speaking after the shock announcement, said: 'The first series of The Night Manager was one of the most creatively fulfilling projects I have ever worked on. Sharing the clip, one X user wrote: 'Kimmel catching Tom Hiddleston in a straight up lie about whether he knows if Hugh Laurie will be in seasons 2/3 of The Night Manager.' Hugh is set to join Tom as an executive producer on the series, which is being made by The Ink Factory, but it remains a mystery whether he will reprise his role as Richard Onslow Roper.
