Tom Hardy's Splinter Cell Movie Is Officially Dead

A producer behind the previously announced Splinter Cell movie revealed that it fell apart.

Splinter Cell is an iconic game franchise, one that fans have been hoping to see unfold in live-action on the big screen–though, sadly, that doesn't look to be happening anymore. The film adaptation was officially reported to be in development by Deadline in 2012, with it being revealed later that year that Tom Hardy was in talks to star as Sam Fisher himself. On top of utilizing his expertise on the many corners of today’s entertainment to cover the latest news and theories, he establishes and maintains communication and relations between the outlet and the many studio and talent representatives.
