Tom Daley has spoken about a complex relationship with body image, and described his "guilt and shame" over eating disorder type of behaviour

Devonian diving star and television personality Tom Daley worked hard for his Olympic medals, and experienced difficulties along the way, including a brush with eating disordered behaviour. Along with other household names like Prince Harry, Jake Humphrey, Jon Snow and This Morning’s Dr Zoe Williams, Tom didn’t do as well at school as many of his peers. Tom highlighted the natural human desire to “want to be better”, especially when the TV cameras are magnifying every part of the body.
