Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt held steady atop the Korean box office for a second straight weekend, as “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” added $5 million from 688,160 admissions across 2,150 screens, accounting for 64.65% of total revenue, according to Kobis, the tracking service operated by the Korean Film Council. In fifth, South Korean action-drama “The Old Woman With the Knife” earned $142,121, pushing its cumulative total to $3.7 million from over 532,000 admissions. With the top 10 generating over $8.4 million, a shade under last week’s total, the Korean box office maintained solid momentum heading into the final days of May, bolstered by a mix of major franchise fare and reliable local hits.
